Game
Our first project is an online multiplayer game for language learning, collaboration and sharing experiences.

SANDBOX-MMO
MMOs are computer games that enable hundreds of thousands of players to simultaneously play in one persistent world via the internet. Players typically interact and communicate and shape the game's progression together. In our game, each language has its own world, inhabited and shaped by its community. Confirmed L1 - speakers (L1 = first language) and high-level players form a DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) to democratically govern their respective worlds.

GAME-BASED LEARNING
The game is designed for active learning in a social, immersive, safe and guided 3D environment. We create the opportunity for experimentation and exploration as viable paths for self-directed learning. You can explore all the elements of your environment to learn new vocabulary and discover more details. Mistakes are not seen as failures, but as opportunities for improvement. You can repeat all tasks as many times as you like, and take as much time as you need to master them. Your actions are supported by immediate feedback loops and assistance to better guide you on your unique path to language mastery.

SOCIAL
Share your individual learning experience with other people from around the world.
Make connections across social, cultural, and national boundaries. Communicate, practice, and play in a diverse and welcoming environment that grows in complexity with your experience and stats.

VALUE
The game is 100% free and offers play-to-earn. All revenue streams of the game are exchanged for ADA (Cardano’s own token) and redistributed into a treasury. This adds value to the in-game currency (our own Native Token). Meaningful contributions/participations are rewarded with tokens and special prizes/NFTs. In addition, each world’s DAO issues Verified Credentials (VCs) of users’ DIDs (Decentralized Identifiers) via Atala PRISM, which is Cardano’s SSI-solution. This allows participants to prove their progress and standing in-game and outside.

COMMUNITY
All content and value in the game is collectively created and managed by the community. Educhainment builds tools to create the game in a decentralized and inclusive way.
We strive to support all users as much as possible through intuitive editors and guidelines. We empower users with helpful virtual organization capabilities.

COLLABORATIVE CREATION
Everyone can contribute to game level and world creation on their own terms. You can be an architect, a translator, an administrator, a teacher or an author. Do what you like best or try new things!
STARTER SET
OF LANGUAGES

Our goal is to allow as many people as possible to access our platform and be involved in its creation process.
That’s why we focus on the most widely spoken languages first, and then add those that we think are particularly important to the Cardano ecosystem.

Most Spoken Languages:
Nearly half of the world's population speaks one of the official languages of the United Nations.
-
Standard Arabic
-
Standard Chinese
-
English
-
French
-
Russian
-
Spanish
Priority languages:
Amharic and Oromo
Ethiopia is one of Cardano’s early adopters in the education sector. More than 60% of it’s population speaks either Amharic or Oromo.
Japanese
Cardano has some historical ties to Japan. With it’s vibrant ecosystem and recent listing of ADA, it provides a lot of potential for adoption in the blockchain space.
Swahili
This is an important lingua franca across many african countries, providing business opportunities and an importation means of communication.
Next target languages:
Bengali, Urdu, Tamil, Hausa, Farsi, Turkish, Hebrew, Georgian, … In the long run, we want to give every language culture the opportunity to build its own world and become one of the supported languages.
